“Like Ralph Stanley sitting in with Bob Marley. I’ve called these guys my favorite band so often, I must really mean it." Patrick Carr- The Village Voice
Produced by Lauderdale and longtime co-producer Tim Coats, the friendship and musical collaboration between Jim and DTB grew out of a few serendipitious encounters at the same festivals and Jim receiving subsequent invitations to play at DTB's annual Grassroots Festival in Ithaca, NY. Jim's eclectic country mixed with the band's mix of country, rock, Cajun, Zydeco and folk create some wonderful psychedelic country moments.
