Elvis første studioalbum, »Elvis Presley«, ble sluppet av RCA Records 23. mars 1956. Plata var det første rockalbumet som nådde toppen av Billboards Top pop album-liste og ble liggende i ti uker.

Denne kommende helgen slippes plata i en deluxe dobbeldisc-utgave där även Elvis andra LP och singelspår från samma år finns med.
