Jerker Emanuelson er sansynligvis bedre kjent blant rootsy.nu´s lesere i Sverige enn i Norge og Danmark. Fra sitt HQ i Vara setter Jerker sammen oppsiktsvekkende antologier over artister/ band som beveger seg i amerikansk country/ roots/ powerpop undergrund. Utgivelsene til Jerker er begivenheter blant amerikanske postordreselskaper som spesialiserer seg på denne typen musikk. Sweden's Sounds Asleep, responsible for the Hit The Hay and Home Run compilations, offers a new compilation much in the same vein. Between Goodlettsville And Murfreesboro features a eclectic line-up that links the classic pop folk with the roots and alt. country crowd exactly as we've been seeing it for years. 19 tracks total, with tunes by the likes of such Miles Of Music faves like Bill Lloyd, Greg Trooper, Daddy (w/Will Kimbrough & Tommy Womack), Amy Rigby, Duane Jarvis, Tim Carroll and Joy Lynn White. Contains mostly previously un-released tracks.
