81-årige countryikonen Willie Nelson har bestämt sig för att släppa ifrån sig inspelningar från sitt egna arkiv. Serien kommer gå under namnet »Willie’s Stash« och första utgivning är »December Day: Willie's Stash Vol. 1«, en ny samling av studioinspelningar med Willie och hans syster Bobbie som släpps 2:a december.

December Day: Willie’s Stash Vol.1.innehåller 18 nya versioner av pärlor från Willie omfattande katalog, till exempel »Permanent Lonely« och »My Old Peculiar Way« tillsammans med några covers (Al Jolson »The Anniversary Song« Irving Berlins »Alexanders Ragtime Band«, »What’ll I Do« och »Always«).

Musiker på albumet är Willie Nelson (Trigger) och Bobbie Nelson (piano, B-3 orgel) med Mickey Raphael (munspel), Kevin Smith (bas), Bee Spears (bas), Billy English (trummor, percussion) och David Zettner (akustisk gitarr).
