Detroits Volebeats fra covers til originaler

Volebeats har holdt det gående i utkanten av alternativ-countryen siden tidlig nittitall. Deres siste utgivelse, »Country Favorites« inneholdt coverversjoner av kjente Nashville-artister som Abba, Funkadelic, 13th Floor Elevators, Slayer og Serge Gainsburg! Tro det eller ei, Volebeats klarte kunsstykket å få dette materialet til å gynge. Deres nye album, »Like Her«, (Turqoise Mountain) inneholder bare originalmateriale.
