Denne høsten markerer BBC at det er førti år siden kanalen startet live musikk TV-serien Old Grey Whistle Test.

BBC radio er allerede i gang med en serie der programlederen (Whispering) Bob Harris, ukevis, tar for seg hvert av de seksten årene som OGWT holdt det gående.

12. september slipppes fem omfattende samle-CDer med opptak fra TV-programmene, under sjanger-titlene »Soul«, »Prog Rock«, »Folk«, Country» og «Blues".
