Interessen for musikken til avdøde The Byrds-medlem Gene Clark later aldri til å avta. Nå slipper Collectors Choice dobbel-CDen »In Concert«, med plenty obskurt og uutgitt materiale.

»Unlike a lot of sixties musical icons the works of Gene Clark are not neatly tied up in a definitive set or a series of albums that one can easily obtain. His post Byrds career is scattered among several labels on several continents and they go in and out of print like a cat through a pet door. So, anytime something new surfaces it causes a feeding frenzy for fans who know the shelf life of the release is going to be short lived. This new two disc reissue is the latest in the last word of some of his rarest material. Disc one opens with a seven song set from Mountain Stage in 1988 that has never been commercially released. It is followed by three living room demos of him and Carla Olson from 1989 making their debut. Disc two is the long out of print gem “Silhouetted In Light” album that was recorded live at McCabes in 1990. This marks its first official US release. Steve Young joins them on stage for a take on “Will The Circle Be Unbroken.” There is no better way to spend an autumn evening than with this gentle melancholy set.«
