Dear…,

This summer I went home for my first ever Swedish tour. I had a wonderful experience. Rest assured I'll be back! As some of you know by now, it was not only my first Swedish tour but also my first tour as the »One-Woman-Band«. Just before i went to Europe, i was asked to record a song for the upcoming Fats Domino »Goin Home« Tribute album. It's a special tribute to such an important New Orleans musician and a fundraiser for New Orleans school children in need of musical instruments. OK, so I didn't get to record with Paul McCartney, but I am absolutely thrilled to be on the same album recording as him, Elton John, Neil Young, Tom Petty, the late John Lennon, and many more of my musical heroes. I have an exciting Fall schedule ahead of me. Last week i had the honor of opening for country legend Clint Black. Next month i am opening for Ronnie Milsap in Mobile, playing a special symphony show in Alexandria and a post game show at a Sports Celebrity Tennis Match Fundraiser between Martina Navratilova and Monica Seles.

Now I am back in New Orleans, in the mind-numbing heat and life saving air conditioning. I am sipping a hazelnut ice coffee and getting ready to spend the day writing string arrangements for the upcoming Alexandria Symphony show. You be well and I'll see you down the road.
