Our newest release from Anaïs Mitchell comes in the form of a folk opera. Hadestown is the modern day interpretation of the ancient Greek myth of the poet Opheus and his doomed quest to rescue his wife Eurydice from the underworld. It all comes together with help from musical guests Ani DiFranco, Justin Vernon of Bon Iver, Greg Brown, Ben Knox Miller of The Low Anthem, and many more. All of this wonderful music is offered in beautiful limited edition packaging.
