Born 53 started out in a blues tradition but over the years they've developed into a kind of roots rock/americana/blues band.

Born 53 was founded in 2003 by Anders Lindh, Hans Birkholz and Jörgen Larsson, later to be joined by The Bornettes; Åsa Källén-Lindh and Karin Hagberg.
