Dana Cooper from Nashville, TN, and Annika Fehling from Visby, on the beautiful Swedish island of Gotland, met a couple of years ago on a songwriters retreat. Since then they've been working together as much as possible. Writing songs and touring in Europe and in US (especially in Texas, hence the title of the album). Both Annika and Dana have recorded several albums of their own, but after every gig they do together, the fans are always asking about an album with the two of them.

During their tour of of Sweden in October 2006, Annika and Dana had a day off and decided to record some songs in a studio in Visby. Six hours later this album was recorded. Two voices, two guitars and ten great songs. What else do you need?

The plan was to do a souvenir CD to be sold at gigs only, but the recording is too good not to be officially released. Listen to brilliant new songs like »When The Rain Comes Down« and »Live It Up«. Or the acoustic version of »Good For You« (previously recorded in an electric version by Annika for her album »Good For You: The Best Of Annika Fehling«).
