Reviews of previous album have frequently compared Landstrom to acts like The Handsome Family, Julie& Buddy Miller, Daniel Lanois and Richard & Linda Thompson. Flattering and my no means unfair - never the less not really true. Sure, you can hear a lot of influences when you listen to the new songs, but you also hear a duo with tons of artistic integrity and musical visions of their own.
