Eve and the Last Waltz
The World Has never Been More Beautiful (CD)
(Rhythm Ace Recordings)
Price: 149 SEK
Some say Eve and the Last Waltz are the finest undiscovered band in the land of Sweden. Some say they are loud and rowdy. Some say this and some say that. Yes. We say - in the ear of the beholder!
Vocalist and songwriter Eva Lalander has since the last record – The Shame and the Blame, created visual collages and made sound installations at galleries. And have also played scratchy italian synths and educated pupils in painting at art schools.
This is the sixth full-length album from Eve and the Last Waltz. Some are on LP. Some are on CD. Now on both! The album is recorded at the messy but clinic Örnsbergs Musikstudio by Alexander Pierre. The apocalypse is of course always close at hand with the Waltz. Eva Lalander on vocals and guitar. Mats Grönmark on guitar and other stuff. Calle Schoier on Mellotron and organs. Christian Sandell on drums. James Barrett plays the Didgeridoo and parts of The Birdies do the choir. It will never get more well versed and tight with Eve and the Last Waltz than this. So listen up and let the details and the big music take you over. One Youtube-video is already out – Travellin´
