In October 2014 Joe Fiddle released his debut EP »Where I’ll spend my years«. At that tome there were talks about a full album to be released shortly. Well, it only took him close to 4 years to finish the recordings. But it sure was worth the wait. August 30 the Joe Fiddle masterpiece »For The Longest Walk« will finally see the light of the day.
Joe Fiddle has used the 4 years to create a strong, personal album. An album that sound like nothing else, at least from our Scandinavian perspective. »For The Longest Walk« will probably be classified as an Americana album, and sure, there are influences from bluegrass as well as the almighty Mr Zimmerman. But you can also hear traces of Nordic and British folk.
Joe Fiddle real name is Joe Nyström and he was born and raised in Älvsbyn in the very north of Sweden.
Joe Fiddle started as a street musician in Dubrovnik, Oslo and Santa Monica before he started carving his own material.
