Northern Indians
No Shelter In Sight LP
(Rootsy Music)
Price: 189 SEK
Less than a year after tha acclaimed debut album »The Great Escape«, Northern Indians are back with another brilliant collection of International/Northern Sweden/Artic-folkpop songs. You might hear echos of Woody Guthrie, Everly Brothers, Bright Eyes and Beatles, but altogether it's unmistakably Northern Indians and nothing else.
Northern Indians are Josef Eriksson and John Andersson. Since the release of their first album, they been touring all over Scandinavia with an amazing show with equal parts of music, politics and comedy. Or no, not really equal...more music than politics and comedy to be honest.
They toured for over a month with American singer/songwriter Joe Pug and his band. The bass player Matt Schuessler was so impressed by Northern Indians that he insisted upon mixing the new album. He did and it turned out just great!
