In the end of January 2014, Ellen Sundberg left the snow and the cold and the darkness of her native Sweden to go to Austin, Texas to record the follow up to her accalimed 2013 album »Black Raven«.

After several tours as support act for Israel Nash and his band, it was an obvious choice to record at Israel's studio, to use his band and to hire the man himself as producer.

»Headlights« is the first teaser from the forthcoming album »White Smoke and Pines«. Apart from two versions of »Headlights« (album version and radio edit), we get a cover of Leonard Cohen's »Suzanne«, a rerecording of »Evil Ones« from »Black Raven« and one previously unreleased song, »Forwards & Backwards«, exclusive for this EP.

»White Smoke and Pines« will be released in the fall of 2014.
