Landstrom is Carina Landin and Göran Lindström, a married couple from the North of Sweden mixing their rural roots with worldwide inspiration.
Thinking, humming, writing, singing, playing, recording.

For years they were happy to write and record and showcase the result on MySpace. They certainly didn't rush things. But now Landstrom finally recorded their debut album »In The Bright Daylight«. And what an album it is.

Eleven extraordinary songs performed in a way that is very much Landstrom. With a Nordic tone, even some folk music influences, mixed with rock, pop and americana.

-We're writing our own music and telling our own stories. Landstrom is a project that's been on our minds for quite a while and we decided not to rush it. We tried to work without limits. Music is a form of art, a way to express yourself.

-The original ideas are often very simple, almost naive. Then we try to add som color to the music. It can go in any direction really. We're not working in any particular genre. But we like it when its pretty and ugly at the same time. Real beauty can be found where you least expect it.
