The brilliant Swedish drummer Kjell Gustavsson gathered some of the best musicians in Stockholm to record »The Boogie Boys«. And it turned out to be a wonderful celebration to to music closest to Gustavsson's hear. Classic rhythm 'n' blues, yes...but also cajun, rock 'n' roll, funk and soul. All performed with impressive skills and a lot of love.

Despite the influences, the music on »The Boogie Boys« has nothing to do with retro or even nostalgia. All songs are original and the music is as relevant and important today as ever.
