Kid Creole & hans kokonøtter tilbake i høst

Det amerikanske storbandet Kid Creole and the Coconuts var på toppen av karrieren i første halvdel av 1980-tallet, alltid under ledelse av August Darnell.

I dag skal da Darnell bo deler av året i Sverige, der han planlegger den første Kid Creole and the Coconuts-utgivelsen på fjorten år.

Nye »I wake up screaming« (Strut Records) er således oppfølger til »The Conquest of you, fra 1997.
Kid Creole and the Coconuts første album, «Off the Coast of you" (Ze Records), kom i 1980.
