Delaney Bramlett - best known for writing songs that have been recorded by artists like Eric Clapton, George Harrison, Ray Charles, Tammy Wynette, Leon Russell, and others - died Saturday, Dec. 27, at the age of 69 after complications from gall bladder surgery. His ex-wife - singer/sonwriter Bonnie Bramlett - issued the following statement to the press this afternoon:

I'm so going to miss him; as Delaney wrote in his song: 'It's hard to say good-bye.' All I can hope is that I'll see him in the light."
